Taunton Marksmanship Unit takes First Place in Junior 3-Position Air Rifle

Massachusetts and GOAL were well-represented this weekend out in Port Clinton, Ohio, as the CMP held their National Air Rifle Competitions at Camp Perry.

The new National Champions, won Gold at the Camp Perry Open 3x20 air rifle and set a new National Record by 5 points!

The Taunton Marksmanship Unit Shooters also swept the 2012 Camp Perry Open Precision Individual awards.

Pictured at right, Sarah MacLagan of Rehoboth, MA, fired a 688.4, MacKenzie Martin, of Fairhaven, MA, finished 2nd with a 686.7 and Sonya May, of Rockland, MA, finished 3rd with a 686.5.
